I agree. I think there was a time when they had potential, but the show has moved beyond that point. And really, after being clueless for so long, Jack just doesn’t seem bright enough for Emily. I don’t want him to die, because I do think that the connections Emily has to her past are what keep her from becoming a sociopath. But I also don’t want him to become a darker person so that he and Emily are less disparate and match up better. I am, however, all about Aiden and Emily together.
