Of course, this resonates with me & I appreciate you both, Charissa & Kairol, for sharing about this topic again.  I’ve also found that there are no set rules for grief, and I am a details person?-one who likes a plan.  That’s what I did all through Mike’s diagnosis with HD and over eleven years of constant treatment, but reading & research & planning went out the window after Mike died.  Rules & order didn’t feel right and I was lucky enough to listen to myself and not force it.  I tried to be open to what life had to offer me, and be thankful I was still alive no matter how much I was mourning & missing Mike.
